
How to Send SMS on Sendar
Navigate to the Messages Tab
From your dashboard, go to the left-hand side and click on Messages.
- Select SMS
After clicking on Messages, you’ll see a few options.
Click on "SMS."
- Open the SMS Dropdown and Select Send SMS
Next to "SMS," there’s a dropdown arrow. Click on it, then select "Send SMS."
- Choose Your Audience Type
You’ll be taken to the SMS sending page where you’ll see three options:
- Single audience (recommended if you’re sending to one or a few numbers)
- Group audience (for existing contact groups)
- Import from file (for uploading new contacts via CSV)
For this example, choose "Single Audience."
- Fill in SMS Details
You’ll now need to input the following:
- Wallet Type:
Choose between "Transactional" or "Promotional." - Sender ID:
Select your registered sender ID from the list. (Note: Your sender ID must be approved before you can use it.)
- Recipient Number(s):
Enter the recipient phone number(s). You can input multiple numbers, up to 10, 20, or even 30. - Message Body:
Type your message content here.
- Choose Sending Option
Decide whether to:
- Send Now, or
- Schedule the message for later
- Binding Options
Adjust any binding settings if required (e.g., sending method or delivery rules).
- Click Send
Once everything is filled out, click on "Send."
- Track SMS Progress
After clicking send, a progress bar will appear at the top of the screen.
Once it completes, refresh the page.
You’ll be automatically redirected to the SMS Log, where you can see the delivery status of your message.
If the message wasn’t sent, you’ll be notified here as well.
